MSB series
Cores of the MSB series are made of a thin amorphous ribbon (18 ± 2 μm) based on cobalt AMAG 172, have a rectangular hysteresis loop and significantly higher magnetic permeability compared to cores made of permalloy alloys based on Fe-Ni and ferrite analogs.
Having a very high inductance at the moment of current zero crossing, these products effectively block rapid changes in electrical current that could lead to electrical noise and interference, as well as damage to semiconductor devices by short high-potential surges.
Structurally, the products are optimized for use with a single-turn winding, which is usually the output of a component (transistor, diode).
This class of products provides a higher effective suppression of interference, essentially eliminating the cause of their occurrence, significantly reduces losses compared to classic RC dampers and ferrite cores of the same purpose.
DESIGN
The twisted ribbon core is placed in a rigid protective cylindrical container made of glass-filled polyamide and mechanically fixed with silicone sealant. The container provides reliable mechanical protection of the amorphous material and the preservation of its properties.
