MSF series
Toroidal cores of the MSF series (KVSU.684459.092TU) are made of a thin (18 ± 2 μm) amorphous ribbon AMAG170 based on cobalt with a high initial magnetic permeability.
Designed for use as a magnetic system of measuring current transformers, residual current devices, common-mode filter chokes, etc.
Electronic devices are more and more around us in everyday life, and the issues of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) are becoming more and more acute. In this regard, the requirements for common-mode filters are also becoming more stringent, which are used to protect devices from the penetration of high-frequency interference from the power supply network and to protect against the penetration of high-frequency interference into the network from switching power supplies and other devices using the switching mode.
The common mode filter application area covers a wide range of devices: telecommunications systems, switching power supplies, frequency converters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), etc.
With a typical magnetic permeability of 110,000 or more, the MSF series common mode filter chokes require fewer winding turns, resulting in low parasitic capacitance and high resonant frequency. They are smaller and provide higher insertion loss over a wide frequency range than traditional ferrite and permalloy products.
